Terms and Conditions 1. IMPORTANT THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY HOTLINE OR EMERGENCY DISPATCH SYSTEM. Please contact your local authority if this event represeting an immediate threat to life or property. 2. REPORT FILER PRIVACY AND DISCLAIMER. EthicsLink, pursuant to an agreement between its Clients, has created a method and procedure for the anonymous reporting of misconduct or other potential violations. All reports received by EthicsLink are confidential and anonymous, however pursuant to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and other similar legislation, only reports from employees relating to questionable accounting or auditing matters are required by the client to be held in confidence and only an employee's identity as the Report Filer is protected under the law. Report Filer acknowledges that EthicsLink's confidentiality and anonymity obligation to protect the Report Filer only applied to the report receipt and initial report distribution process, and agrees that EthicsLink will take no action to address the subject matter of any information reported through this system. EthicsLink values the Report Filer's right to privacy on all reported information and EthicsLink will not knowingly disclose any information that would identify the Report Filer without the Report Filer's express permission. Please take care not to report information in a manner that may personally identify you. For example, to protect your anonymity: * Do not include your relationship to persons identified in your report * Do not include your physical location relative to persons or incidents in your report EthicsLink's clients reserve the right to choose how to act, or not act, based upon the information provided to EthicsLink or in a report from EthicsLink to the client, unless otherwise required by law. Furthermore, the client is not required to disclose any response or action(s) pursuant to any information that is provided through the EthicsLink system. 3. RELEASE. As a Report Filer of the EthicsLink system, and by submitting a report to EthicsLink, the Report Filer acknowledges that the sole obligation of EthicsLink shall be to receive and transmit information provided by Report Filers in the report on an anonymous basis, unless otherwise specified by the Report Filer. The Report Filer, on behalf of himself or herself, his or her heirs, successors, family members, agents and assigns, agrees to and does hereby release EthicsLink and its respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, successors, predecessors, agents and assigns, of and from, any and all liability, claims, actions, causes of actions and damages which relate in any way the Report Filers' employer's actions or failures to take action as the result of having received, or been available to receive, information relative to a report. 4. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. EthicsLink and its client companies take the reports made through this site seriously. Please make your report as accurate and truthful as possible. Do not intentionally include false or misleading information in your report. The intentional reporting of false or misleading information can result in civil or criminal liability.
